Postdoc

I am currently looking for postdoctoral researchers to join our research group. The job description can be found here.

PhD Student

There is currently a PhD scholarship available working in advancing the practical realisation of quantum technologies (including quantum error correction and mitigation). It is open to both home students (full award – home fees plus stipend) and overseas students (partial award – course fees covered partially at home rate, plus stipend). Details are in here. The application deadline is 02 Dec 2025.

We are always looking for students passionate about advancing quantum technologies to join us. There is no need to email Cai before applying if you have found the information you need online. Of course, if you still have additional questions, do feel free to get in touch.

PhD Application Timeline

For entry in October 2026:

  • Oct 2025: Application Open
  • 02 Dec 2025: Deadline of application in order to be considered for most of the scholarships, especially for international students. Later application is possible, but will not be considered in a lot of scholarships.
